Rimantas Velykis
Rimantas Velykis (born January 25, 1955 in Dvaralaukiai , Pasvalys Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from Vaškai Middle School in Pasvalys Rajon , he graduated from Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in 1978 with a diploma in agronomy . From 1994 to 1999 he was chairman of the board of the ŽŪB "Dviragis", from 2003 to 2007 deputy mayor of Rokiškis , from 2007 to 2008 mayor of the Rokiškis district .
From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos democinė darbo partija , from 2000 of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
He is married. With his wife Vilija he has the daughter Jurgita and the son Darius.
