Rinaldo Dal Fabbro

Rinaldo Dal Fabbro (born June 10, 1909 in Venice , † June 11, 1977 in Rome ) was an Italian documentary filmmaker and screenwriter .

Life

Dal Fabbro worked as an assistant to documentary filmmaker Francesco Pasinetti in 1934 and wrote two screenplays in the 1940s. At the end of the following decade he turned again to documentary works. In 1955 he made a commercial for English-speaking tourists, Family album , and later four long documentaries that were shown in some cinemas. In 1965 he also shot the hour-long Cristo in India for SanPaolo Film, a studio of the Catholic Church .

Dal Fabbro should not be confused with the poet of the same name (1899–1967).
