geography
Rincón del Bonete is located in the Tacuarembó Department in Sector 10 on the Río Negro on the border with the neighboring department of Durazno . To the west is Paso de los Toros .

Residents
At the 2011 Census, the population of Rincón del Bonete was 54, of which 24 were male and 30 were female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay did not collect any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985 and 1996 .
