The ring symbol is a symbol of the Baha'i , which was designed by Abdu'l Baha and is formed from the two Arabic letters " Ba " and " Ha ", from which the Arabic word "Baha" ( Arabic بهاء bahā ' , DMG bahāʾ' glory, grace, splendor, beauty ', Baha'i transcription Baha ) results. The symbol consists of two stars and three horizontal lines, which are connected by a vertical line. The stars symbolize the two twins, apparently Baha'u'llah and the Bab . The lower line symbolizes the level of humanity with the material world , the middle line symbolizes the level of the manifestations of God (i.e. the level of spirit and revelation) and the upper line symbolizes the level of God. These three levels are connected by cyclically recurring revelations - in the Christian context one could say: the word of God and the Holy Spirit .
