The Rinspeed eXasis is a concept vehicle from the Zumikon- based company Rinspeed . The car, which was developed jointly with Bayer MaterialScience AG , celebrated its premiere at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show .

The vehicle, which was deliberately presented 40 years after Bayer's first “all-plastic car” was presented, the K67, is made entirely of plastic and aluminum and is powered by a 150 hp turbo engine in the rear . With an unladen weight of just 750 kilograms, this brings the vehicle to a top speed of around 210 km / h.

Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is around 4.8 seconds, and the car is fueled with ethanol .
