Cathrinus (Rinus) Dijkstra (born October 19, 1969 in Drachten ), better known by his stage name Zanger Rinus , is a Dutch singer.

Life

In 2009 Rinus brought out the song Hey Marlous , an adaptation of the song Schöne Maid, Do You Have Today for Me by the German singer Tony Marshall from 1972. Hey Marlous is about the Dutch singer Marlous Oosting . Rinus became known to the Dutch public through the television program De Wereld Draait Door .

He then published several clips such as Hé Kastelein (2010, German Hey Gastwirt ) and Met Romana op de Scooter (German With Romana on the scooter ). The latter song was posted on YouTube on July 8, 2011 and viewed more than 300,000 times in five days. The song also found international recognition: The American news website The Huffington Post dedicated an article to it.

His partner, Deborah, can often be seen in his video clips.
