The Rio Claro Futebol Clube is a Brazilian soccer team from Rio Claro , São Paulo .

history

The club was founded on May 9, 1909 as the Rio Claro Football Club by a teacher named Joaquim Arnold, a railroad worker named Bento Estevam Siqueira, Constantino Carrocine, and João Lambach. Years later the club was renamed to its current name.

On July 14, 1928 you completed the first international game in England against HMS Capton .

In 2002 they became champions of the Campeonato Paulista B1 after defeating the Guaratinguetá Esporte Clube in the final. In 2005, Rio Claro FC was runner-up at the Copa Paulista de Futebol , and in 2007 they qualified for the A1 series for the first time .
