The Rip Point (English for surf peak ) is a headland of Nelson Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It forms the south side of the eastern entrance to Fildes Strait .
Her descriptive name is found on a map of the British Admiralty based on surveys carried out by scientists from the British Discovery Investigations in 1935.
