Rita Ruoff-Breuer

Rita Ruoff-Breuer is a German architect and construction officer . From 2010 to 2014 she was President of the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR).

Ruoff-Breuer studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin . After working for two years in freelance architecture firms, she completed her construction traineeship at the Federal Building Directorate , the predecessor organization of the BBR.

As a project and subject manager at the South Construction Office of the special assets and construction management of the Berlin Regional Finance Directorate , she was responsible for the buildings of the American allies in Berlin . After reunification , she took over the management of two federal building authorities.
