Rixdorf
Rixdorf was the name of a place near Berlin, from 1899 a town, renamed Neukölln in 1912,
- as a district of Berlin-Neukölln part of the Berlin district of Neukölln,
- from 1737 to 1874 divided into Böhmisch-Rixdorf , a community of Protestant refugees from Bohemia, and the neighboring old town center Deutsch-Rixdorf.
- The Rixdorfer Höhe has been a 67.9 meter high mountain of rubble in Berlin-Neukölln since 1950.
- The Rixdorfer pond was created in 1991 in the Volkspark Hasenheide .
- The Protestant parish of Rixdorf was formed in 2006 through the merger of several parishes, including the Magdalenenkirche .
- The old name Rixdorf is still increasingly used for institutions and activities around the old village center: Rixdorf School, Rixdorf Forge , Rixdorf Festival, Ballhaus Rixdorf, Alt-Rixdorf Christmas Market, Rixdorf Kiezforum, etc.
