Rob Reef (* 1968 in Berlin ) is a German writer.

Life

Reef studied philosophy and literature at the Free University of Berlin . He initially worked for a Munich publisher and has been employed as a copywriter and consultant in a Berlin advertising agency since 2003. Reef has been writing classic detective novels in the tradition of British Whodunits since 2009 . For HarperCollins he writes alongside Martin Edwards and John Curren expert introductions to the new "The Detective Club" series. Under the pseudonym "W. Rönne ”he also works as a translator. Reef's main protagonist is literature professor John Wickham Stableford , who, together with his wife Harriet and sidekick Sir Perceval Holmes, likes to solve their cases near golf courses.

Rob Reef has been a member of the Syndikat , the authors' group of German-language crime literature, since 2015 .
