Robby Camphausen
Robert "Robby" Hubert Camphausen (* 1909 in Düsseldorf ) was a German painter.
Life
Camphausen was a member of the artists' association “ Das Junge Rheinland ” and belonged to the Düsseldorf School of Painting . He painted regularly on the Hunsrück . In 1932 he married the Dutch Hedwig Roth in Utrecht. During the Nazi era he had contact with resistance fighters and was brought to justice by the Nazi regime.
