Robert Borner

Robert Börner (born September 6, 1865 ; † after 1935) was a German politician ( DNVP ) and a member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Börner was born the son of the court manager August Börner, attended elementary school and then served as a one-year volunteer . In 1886 he joined the Reichspost as a postal assistant , where he was promoted to senior postal inspector . During the First World War, Börner served as Feldpst commander of the 58th Infantry Division. In 1917 he became a city councilor in Leipzig . From 1920 to 1926 he was a member of the Saxon state parliament for the DNVP . From September 27, 1927 he was a replacement for the resigned MP Alexander Pagenstecher until 1929 again a member of the Saxon state parliament. In the parliamentary group he had u. a. holds the functions of secretary, cashier and manager. Börner was temporarily chairman of the DNVP in Leipzig. He belonged to the Society for German National Education and the Fichte Society from 1914 .

Nothing is known about his further life after leaving the state parliament in 1929.
