Robert Darcy (nobleman, † between 1148 and 1160)
Robert Darcy († between 1148 and 1160) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman.
Robert Darcy came from the Darcy family . He was believed to be the son of Norman Darcy , the first known member of the family. After his death before 1129 he inherited his estate at Nocton in Lincolnshire . Robert Darcy is also likely mentioned as a vassal of the Percy family in 1129 or 1130 in the Pipe Rolls . He probably founded Nocton Priory during the reign of King Stephen , although the family retained the right of patronage . He is mentioned for the last time in 1148.
Darcy was married to Alice , with her he had at least one son who became his heir:
