Thomas Darcy (nobleman, † 1180)
Thomas Darcy (also D'Arcy ) († 1180 ) was an Anglo-Norman nobleman.
Thomas Darcy came from the Darcy family . He was a son of Robert Darcy and probably his wife Alice . After his father's death before 1160, he inherited the estates of the family, whose center was Nocton in Lincolnshire . As Crown Vassal , he owned just over twenty Knight's Fee in Lincolnshire in 1166 . He presumably held five other Knight's Fee as fiefs of the Percy family . Like his father, he made donations to the Church, he considered Kirkstead Abbey and Nocton Priory, presumably founded by his father .
Darcy married Aelina († 1182/3). With her he had at least one son, Thomas Darcy (1166 / 7-1206), who became his heir.
