Robert Jeffrey Dover (born June 7, 1956 in Chicago , Illinois ) is an American dressage rider , six-time Olympic participant and since 2010 national coach for Canadian dressage riders.

Private

After leaving school, Dover studied at the University of Georgia .

In 1988 he met the dressage rider Robert Ross , with whom he has been in a relationship ever since.

Career

In 1984 Dover took part in the Olympic Games for the first time, at that time he finished 17th in the individual and 6th with the team.

In 1996, Dover established the Equestrian Aid Foundation .

Dover was elected national coach for Canadian dressage riders in 2010.
