The Robert F. Kennedy Building, headquarters of the United States Department of Justice.

The Robert F. Kennedy Building ( officially "Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building" ) is a 110,000 m² administrative building of the United States of America in Washington, DC built in 1935. It is named after Robert Francis Kennedy , the former attorney general and named brother John F. Kennedys .

The building houses both the United States Department of Justice and the offices of the Attorney General , Deputy Attorney General , Associate Attorney General, and Solicitor General , all of which are affiliated with the Department of Justice.

The building is located at 950 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, in the so-called Federal Triangle together with some US government departments and is operated by the General Services Administration (GSA). The building's architects were Milton Bennett Medary , Charles L. Borie, Jr., and Clarence C. Zantzinger .

The building is bordered by the National Archives Building to the west, the Internal Revenue Service Building to the east, the National Mall to the north and the J. Edgar Hoover Building to the south .
