Federal Triangle
The Federal Triangle is the name given to the complex in downtown Washington, DC , bounded by 15th Street NW, Constitution Avenue NW, Pennsylvania Avenue NW and E Street NW , the ten buildings of which are all city and national authorities Federal house.
Here are, among others, resident:
- the Department of Commerce ( Herbert C. Hoover Building )
- the Department of Justice ( Robert F. Kennedy Building )
- the Department of Homeland Security ( Ronald Reagan Building )
- the United States Customs and Border Protection (Ronald Reagan Building)
- the United States Border Patrol (Ronald Reagan Building)
- the Agency for International Development (Ronald Reagan Building)
- the National Archives of the United States
- the Environmental Protection Agency ( Labor Building and ICC Building )
- several government organizations in the Old Post Office Pavilion
Seven of the ten buildings were erected in the 1930s by the US government as part of a construction project they called "one of the best projects of all time" at the time.
