Robert Kath

Robert Kath (born July 5, 1985 in Plauen ) is a German racing driver .

Career

Kath began his career in karting, which he was involved in until 2001. He then switched to Formula BMW Junior in 2001, in which he finished fourth at the end of the season. This was followed by a change to Formula BMW Germany, in which he was twelfth in his first year in 2002. He stayed loyal to the series and finished third in 2003. In 2004 he switched to the Formula 3 Euro Series, which he had to end prematurely due to a lack of sponsors and in which he finished 24th without any championship points at the end of the season. In 2005 he switched to the German Formula 3 Cup, where he only took part in the first 3 events with only podium places. He still finished ninth at the end of the season.

He currently runs an outdoor go-kart track and is the leader of his own Kath-Racing racing team.
