Robert Keith († 1446)
Sir Robert Keith (* after 1414; † 1446 ) was a Scottish nobleman and Marshal of Scotland .
He was the eldest son and heir of Sir William Keith († 1444) and Mary Hamilton .
In February 1440 at the latest he was knighted .
On the death of his father he inherited the state office of the Great Marischal of Scotland and the chief dignity of Clan Keith .
He married Janet Seton, daughter of Sir John Seton of Seton († around 1434). With her he had a daughter, Janet Keith, who married Andrew Gray, 2nd Lord Gray around 1464 .
In the absence of male descendants, when he died in 1446, the office of marshal and chief fell to his younger brother William .
