Robert L. Noble Prize

The Robert L. Noble Prize (not to be confused with the Nobel Prize ) is an annual prize awarded by the National Cancer Institute of Canada that honors researchers in the field of cancer research. The award is endowed with 2,000 Canadian dollars for the researcher and an additional 20,000 dollars for his further research (as of 2011).

It is named after Canadian scientist Robert Laing Noble , a researcher who was involved in the discovery of the anti-cancer drug vinblastine in the 1950s .
