Robert Magnus (lawyer)

Robert Magnus (* 1980 ) is a German legal scholar .

Life

From 2000 to 2006 he studied law in Freiburg im Breisgau and Paris ; First state examination in law and from 2002 to 2006 he completed the additional training in "European, International and Foreign Law" at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . From 2004 to 2006 he was a student assistant at the Institute for German and Foreign Civil Procedure Law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. From 2006 to 2009 he was a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Institute for German and Foreign Civil Procedure Law at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. After completing his doctorate in 2009, topic: “The lawyer’s privilege and its civil procedural protection”, he passed the second state examination in 2011. From 2011 to 2017 he was Academic Councilor a. Z. and Habilitand, University of Heidelberg , Institute for Foreign and International Private and Business Law. After completing his habilitation in 2017, he has held the chair for civil law, international private law and civil procedure law at the EBS Law School in Wiesbaden since 2019 .
