Robert McLachlan (born April 17, 1971 in Canberra ) is a retired Australian cyclist .

Robert McLachlan drove for the Australian Continental Team MG XPower-Bigpond in 2005 . He won the UCI Oceania Tour overall standings that year . In 2006 and 2007 he drove for Drapac Porsche . In April he won the Tour of Chongming Island and finished the UCI Asia Tour 2006 in tenth place. McLachlan later won the Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic . In 2007 he became oceanic road champion and repeated his overall victory in the UCI Oceania Tour . After the 2007 season he ended his international career.
