Robert Mirtsch
Robert Mirtsch (before 1870 - after 1906) was an opera singer ( baritone ) and director .
Life
Mirtsch began his stage career in 1887 at the Carl-Schultze-Theater , where he worked until 1891. Then he came to Elbing (1892), Lodz (1893-1894), Teplitz (1895), Bern (1896), Münchner Volkstheater (1897), Sondershausen (1898) and in 1899 joined the association of the Neustrelitz court theater.
Mirtsch was considered a good baritone player and was praised for his excellent performance as well as his excellent playing: "Fliegender Holländer", " Telramund ", "Rigoletto", "Don Carlos" (Ernani), "Werner" ( trumpeter von Säckingen ) are among them his gladly heard main parts.
In 1906 he became an opera director in Neustrelitz.
His life after 1906 is unknown.
