Robert Rochefort

Robert Rochefort (born September 19, 1955 in Paris ) is a French politician ( MoDem ).

Rochefort attended the College of Statistics and Financial Management and then headed the statistics department of the national health insurance company . Afterwards he was Deputy Director of the Center for Research, Studies and Documentation in the Health Economics Division CREDES and Director of the Research Center for the Study and Monitoring of Living Conditions CREDOC. In 1995 he became General Director there, a position he held until 2009. Rochefort has also been a reporter for various French media, including the Catholic daily La Croix , Challenges, RTL and Europe 1 and he was a member of the national board of the French Red Crosson. He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
