Robert Thompson (media historian)

Robert J. Thompson (born August 3, 1959 in Hinsdale , Illinois ) is an American media historian .

Robert Thompson holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Chicago and an MA and Ph.D. from Northwestern University. in media studies . He is Professor of Popular Culture at Syracuse University in New York State, USA.
