Roberto Kreimerman

Roberto Kreimerman (born July 30, 1958 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan politician .

Kreimerman graduated from the Universidad de la República (UdelaR) with a degree in chemical engineering in 1982 . Postgraduate studies at the University of Barcelona followed in 2000 and 2002 respectively . Since 2006 he has been a professor at the Instituto de Ingeniería Química of the UdelaR. As successor to Raúl Fernando Sendic , under whom he served as State Secretary since September 2009, Kreimerman has been head of the Uruguayan Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining since March 1, 2010 . He is married and has three children.
