Roberval Prize

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Roberval Prize is awarded after an international competition, the aim of which is to promote works in French that deal with technology.

It is named after the mathematician and physicist Gilles Personne de Roberval , the inventor of the Roberval balance .

Selection process

Entries for the competition must be submitted between March and January. As a rule, the publishers make an initial pre-selection. The works are then assessed by three panels of experts who make a further selection. A fourth committee then selects the winner.
