Robin Juhkental (born May 20, 1988 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian singer and keyboard player.

Life and music

Robin Juhkental attended elementary school in Tallinn-Kivimäe and high school in Tallinn 's Nõmme district . He is currently studying at Tallinna Tehnikakõrgkool University of Applied Sciences.

Juhkental credibly claims never to have taken singing lessons. In 2007 he participated in the popular youth show Kaks takti ette of Estonian television part. In 2009 he was a candidate for the casting show Eesti otsib superstaari, the Estonian edition of Deutschland sucht den Superstar .

In his lyrics, Juhkental is inspired by Surrealism , Dadaism and Concrete Poetry .

With his electro-pop band, the duo Malcolm Lincoln , he was able to prevail on March 12, 2010 in the national qualification Eesti Laul 2010 and represented Estonia with Malcolm Lincoln and the background singers Manpower4 (Jaanus Saago, Andrei Ozdoba, Mick Pedaja and Kristjan Knight) at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo . He composed and wrote the English-language song Siren ("Siren") himself.

In 2015 he took part in the Eesti Laul again. Together with the Big Bangers he reached the finals with his song Troubles , where he came in sixth place with 10 out of a possible 20 points.
