Robin Montgomery (born September 5, 2004 in Washington, DC ) is an American tennis player .
Career
Montgomery started playing tennis at the age of five and prefers hard courts . So far, she has mainly played tournaments on the ITF Women's World Tennis Tour , but has not yet won a title.
Montgomery made her debut on the WTA Tour at the 2019 Citi Open , where she lost 6-4, 5-7 and 2-6 to Destanee Aiava in the first round of qualifying . In December she won the Orange Bowl , the most important junior tournament after the four Grand Slams. In the final she prevailed against Jana Kolodynska with 7: 6, 4 and 6: 3.
