A rod pod is a device that is used when fishing , mostly for carp . Several rods are placed on it to give them a better grip and to hold the rods in the event of a bite from a large fish (e.g. carp). Electric bite indicators can be mounted on the front of a rod pod and simple rod holders (usually in V-shape) on the other. In contrast to simple banksticks that are stuck in the ground, rod pods can also be used on e.g. B. Use concrete or stone.
