family tree
The first documented representative was Dipoldus von Rodemach , who in 932 AD took over the vassal office over the city of Rodemachern for the Echternach monastery and acted as arbiter at the first tournament in Magdeburg. On February 6, 1019, his great-grandson Fréderich first showed the Rodemach weapons at a tournament. His great (3) grandson Arnoldus von Rodemach usurped for the son of Barbarossa Heinrich VI. the area of Rodemachern and built the first Rodemack Castle. Between 1308 and 1313 Aegidius von Rodemach was provincial administrator of the county of Luxembourg during the absence of John of Bohemia . In 1492 the property of the Lords of Rodemacher (Rodemack) was confiscated and the property of the House of Rodemach fell to the Margrave of Baden . Starting with Arnoldus von Rodemach, today's Rademacher House was created from a sideline .
