Rodolfo Daluisio
Rodolfo Daluisio (born January 31, 1952 in Chacabuco ) is an Argentine bandoneonist, organist, choir director, composer and music teacher .
Daluisio had music theory and piano lessons from the age of six. At the age of 16 he went to Junín , where he continued his education in harmony and instrumentation. In this city he also works as a bandoneonist.
In 1970 he became a member of the Chacabuco Municipal Choir and took part in various musical performances. From 1973 he studied at the Municipal Conservatory of Music "Manuel de Falla" in Buenos Aires. From 1973 to 1976 he directed the municipal choir of Chacabuco and undertook several concert tours with it through Argentina. Since 1974 he has performed works by Argentine composers as a bandoneonist and organist. In 1978 he became a member of the Asociación Organística Argentina , in 1981 honorary member of the Agrupación Organum .
In 1978 he graduated as a bandoneonist from the Manuel de Falla Conservatory. He continued his education with a degree in the flute, a postgraduate course in the subject organ and a degree in music education with Juan F. Giacobbe . With Giacobbe he also studied drama music, Gregorian chant and liturgical music as well as composition. From 1981 he taught bandoneon, counterpoint and fugue, orchestration and composition at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory and at the Morón Conservatory. In addition, from 1981 to 1988 he held a chair for ear training, harmony, counterpoint, theory of forms, music history and pedagogy, bandoneon and organ at the Escuela Superior de Música in Concepción.
In 1994 Daluisio gave a concert as a bandoneon soloist at the Teatro Colón , where he performed compositions by Girolamo Frescobaldi , Giovanni Battista Pergolesi and his teacher Giacobbe in addition to his own works . In 1999 he was awarded the Premio Konex as one of the leading personalities in the music of the 1990s . Daluisio composed more than 100 works, including chamber, orchestral and choral music, many of them for bandoneon or organ.
