Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón
Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón (* 1500 in Rascafría , † 1577 in Segovia ) was a Spanish architect of the Renaissance .
Rodrigo came from a family of architects and was the son of Juan Gil de Hontañón and brother of Juan Gil de Hontañón the Younger. After his father's death, he was his successor as a builder at the Cathedral of Segovia (1526).
He was one of the most respected and busiest architects in Spain.
