The Palacio de Monterrey in Salamanca , the capital of the Spanish province of Salamanca in Castile-León , is a palace from the mid-16th century. The building is a protected architectural monument ( Bien de Interés Cultural ).

The Palacio de Monterrey was built from 1539 for Alonso de Zúñiga y Acevedo , Conde de Monterrey, according to plans by Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón . With its Plateresque decoration and its corner towers, it typically represents the Spanish nobility in the epoch of the Siglo de Oro .

The palace now belongs to the House of Alba and houses a private art collection.
