Rodrigo Rojo , full name Rodrigo Rojo Piazze , (born July 21, 1989 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.73 meter tall defensive player Rojo belonged to the Rampla Juniors at the beginning of his career since the Apertura 2009 . After 50 top division appearances and one goal for the club (2009/10: 9 games (0 goals); 2010/11: 18 (0); 2011/12: 23 (1)) he moved to Centro Atlético Fénix within Montevideo in August 2012 . There, too, he played 50 games in the Primera División and scored one goal (2012/13: 25 (0); 2013/14: 25 (1)). In mid-2014, his further career path then led abroad. He joined the Hungarian club Újpest Budapest . In the 2014/15 season he was used six times (no goal) in the Nemzeti Bajnokság (NB I.), six times (one goal) in the League Cup and once (no goal) in the Magyar Kupa . He returned to Fénix in July 2015. With the Montevideans he came to seven other first division appearances (no goal). At the end of January 2016, he changed employers within the league and will now play for Sud América . There he played twelve first division matches (no goal). In early June 2016 he joined the Paraguayan club Olimpia , for which he played in two top division games (no goal). At the beginning of January 2017, he moved within the city to Club Nacional , for which he has so far (as of March 4, 2017) completed a league game (no goal).
