Rodscher (Russian: Родшер ; Finnish: Ruuskeri ; Estonian: Ruuskari ; Swedish: Rödskär ) is a small island in the Gulf of Finland . The uninhabited island is located in Kingisepp Rajon in the Russian Oblast of Leningrad , the westernmost branch of which it forms, roughly the length of the Estonian Kunda .
The area of the island is 0.3 ha. It is known as "a rocky islet surrounded by a reef". There is a beacon on it.
The island, which is around 17 km south-southwest of Gogland , belonged to Finland until 1944 .
