The Rofanseilbahn is a cable car in the Rofan Mountains near Maurach am Achensee , municipality of Eben am Achensee , Schwaz district, Tyrol, Austria. The operator is Rofan Seilbahn AG .

The lift, which opened on July 1, 1959, leads to a small plateau below the summit of the Gschöllkopf. It is 2,230 meters long. The height difference is 851 meters and the highest ground clearance is 104 meters. The maximum speed is 12 meters per second (corresponds to 43.2 km / h). The load capacity of a cabin is 4,800 kg (approx. 60 adults). Max. 740 people can be carried. The diameter of the suspension cable is 55 millimeters and the diameter of the pull cable is 28 millimeters.

The Erfurter Hütte and the Mauritzalm are located at the mountain station .

The builder was the Society for Conveyor Systems Ernst Heckel (today PWH Anlagen und Systeme). The control technology was implemented by Frey.
