Roger Cochini

Roger Cochini (* 1946 in Marseille ) is a French composer and music teacher .

Cochine studied engineering at the Institut national des sciences appliquées de Lyon from 1965 to 1969 ; after that he studied composition with Pierre Schaeffer and Guy Reibel at the Conservatoire de Paris until 1971 . From 1969 to 1971 he was a member of the Groupe de musique expérimentale de Bourges (GrmB). At the Groupe de musique expérimentale de Bourges , he was initially responsible for the field of musical IT, then until 1996 for the field of music education.

Since 1983 Cochini was professor of electroacoustic music at the École Nationale de Musique et de Danse de Bourges , and from 1996 to 1999 lecturer at the musicological institute of the University of Lille. His students included Rudolfo Acosta , Paul Clouvel , Jerome Poret , Eric Broitmann and Daniel Amadeo Zimbaldo .

Since 2015 he has been President of Association Bandits-Mages, Bourges, France.
