Roger Rychen

Roger Rychen (born November 6, 1991 ) is an active Swiss wrestler .

Career as a wrestler

He celebrated his greatest successes so far with the two wins of a federal wreath at the federal wrestling and alpine festivals in Estavayer-le-Lac in 2016 and in Zug in 2019 .

In addition, he participated in the Schaffhausen Cantonal Wrestling Festival 2013, the Bündner-Glarus Wrestling Festival 2014/2017 and 2018, the Zurich Cantonal Wrestling Festival 2017 and the St. Gallen Cantonal Wrestling Festival 2018. He has celebrated a total of 16 regional festival victories so far (Hallenschwinget Niederurnen 2014/15/16/17/18, Bergschwinget Klöntal 2014/2017/2018/2019, Berchtold-Schwinget Zurich 2015, Eschenberg-Schwinget 2015, Gibel-Schwinget 2016/17, Rapperswiler Association Wrestling Festival 2017, Herbstschwinget Siebnen 2017, Lichtmess-Schwinget 2018).

Rychen has won 32 wreaths so far (March 2020): 2 federal, 32 cantonal (8 GR / GL, 8 GL / GR, 4 TG, 4 ZH, 2 SG, 2 SZ, 2 SH, 2 AR), 8 sub-association ( 6 NOSV, 1 SWSV, 1 NWSV) and 7 mountain wreaths (2 Rigi, 2 Schwägalp, 1 Stoos, 1 Brünig, 1 Weissenstein).

In the official annual points list of the Swiss Federal Wrestling Association , Rychen took 28th place in 2019.

Life

Rychen comes from the Glarnerland . The Sennenschwinger lives in Mollis in the municipality of Glarus Nord . He is 190 cm tall and has a combat weight of 108 kg. Rychen is married to Nicole geb. Steiger (his best man was the wrestler Samir Leuppi ), works as a machinist for a contractor and belongs to the Northeast Swiss Wrestling Association.
