Roger Stanislaus

Roger Stanislaus (born November 2, 1968 in Hammersmith ) is a former English football player . The defender last played for Peterborough United .

He began his career at Arsenal , but where he was not used. In 1987 he moved to Brentford FC in the Third Division , the third highest English league. In 1990 he went to Bury FC , where he was under contract for five years. At the end of the 1993/94 season he was elected to the PFA Team of the Year . In 1995 he moved to Leyton Orient . He was banned there for a year in February 1996 after he tested positive for cocaine on a doping test . In the summer he went to Peterborough, where he ended his career a year later.
