Rohrbach's demand
In cryptanalysis , Rohrbach's demand describes a claim that the German mathematician and cryptologist Hans Rohrbach (1903-1993) formulated. He thus demands of the cryptanalyst not only to be satisfied with the solution of a ciphertext or even with only a fragmentary decipherment , but to completely expose the encryption system and in particular to uncover the key .
Rohrbach's demand is:
"The solution is only seen as finished once all the associated keys have been worked out."
