Rojhan Beken

Rojhan Beken (* 1974 in Mardin ) is a Kurdish singer from Turkey .

He studied at the Trakya University in Edirne and founded a music group there. For years he worked with the Turkish singer Haluk Levent . Rojhan's first Kurdish album was released under the title Lawo ( Eng .: boy). His second album was called Evîna Azadî (English: The Love of Freedom). With his music style - Kurdish rock - Rojhan stands out from the usual Kurdish singers. Rojhan currently lives in Istanbul .
