Roland Demongeot

Roland Demongeot (* 1955 ) is a French actor . He was best known for his portrayal of Tom Sawyer in the ZDF four-part series Tom Sawyers and Huckleberry Finns Abenteuer , alongside Marc di Napoli , who played the role of Huckleberry Finn . The film adaptation is based on the novels Tom Sawyer's Adventure and Huckleberry Finn's Adventure, as well as Life on the Mississippi by the writer Mark Twain .

Roland Demongeot was selected from over 150 actors at the casting for the role of Tom Sawyer. He starred in several films and series in the 1960s and 1970s, including well-known French films. Today Demongeot lives withdrawn from the public.
