Michael Struckmann (born August 28, 1964 in Duisburg ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Michael Struckmann played for MSV Duisburg until 1994 . His first years in professional storage of MSV played Struck with his teammates in the 2. Bundesliga , until the 1985/86 season by the 20th place in the final table of the descent into the league followed. Struckmann stayed with MSV and celebrated the German amateur champions in the first year of membership in the Oberliga , followed by promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in the second year. After two years of second division football, MSV made it to the Bundesliga in the 1990/91 season by finishing second in the final table, behind FC Schalke 04 . The successful team, led by trainer Willibert Kremer , included Ralf Kellermann , Heribert Macherey , Rachid Azzouzi , Joachim Hopp , Marco Köller , Patrick Notthoff , Toni Puszamszies , Dirk Bremser , Pietro Callea , Gyula Hajszan , Uwe Kober , Ewald Lienen and Massimo Mariotti , Franz-Josef Steininger , Michael Tarnat , Lothar Woelk , Jörg Beyel , Vojtek Kaluzny , Ferenc Schmidt and Michael Tönnies . After a year in the Bundesliga the immediate relegation followed, which was followed by the promotion. The following year was the last professional year for Struckmann.
