Roland Schneider (Japanologist)
Roland Schneider (born October 12, 1939 in Maffersdorf , † August 4, 2007 in Hamburg ) was a German Japanologist.
Life
After receiving his doctorate ( Kōwaka-mai. Language and style of a medieval Japanese art of recitation ) on July 29, 1968 as Dr. phil. in Hamburg he taught from 1983 to 2004 as a professor of Japanese studies.
