Rolf Apitzsch
Rolf Apitzsch (* in Hamburg ) is a German amateur astronomer and asteroid discoverer.
In 1998 he built the private Wildberg observatory , which went into operation at the beginning of 1999 and which he also runs with his wife.
There he identified a total of 68 asteroids between 2004 and 2010.
The asteroid (29214) Apitzsch was named after him on February 9, 2009.
