Rolf Dietmar Grap

Rolf Dietmar Grap (born November 21, 1956 - † August 17, 2012 ) was a German economist and university professor at the FH Aachen .

Life

Grap studied economics at RWTH Aachen University , where he received his doctorate in 1992 with the thesis New Forms of Work Organization for the Steel Industry at the Institute for Ergonomics . Years in business and consulting followed. In 1996, Grap was appointed to the field of business administration, in particular procurement and production, at the FH Aachen , where he has represented the field of business administration there since 2002 , in particular procurement, production and logistics management .

Since 1989, Grap has been associated with REFA . He worked there as a teacher and in working groups. Most recently he was chairman of the REFA regional association for the Rhineland. From 2005 to 2010 he was a volunteer Wikipedia author. He died on August 17, 2012 after a brief, serious illness.
