Rolf Röpke (radio presenter)

Rolf Röpke (actually: Wilfried Röpke , * 1941 ) is a German radio presenter .

Life

Rolf Röpke spent his youth in Hameln . He then completed a journalistic training at the Hanoverian AZ and began his radio career in 1968 with RTL- Radio Luxemburg's 4-cheerful waves , where he became known through the show Fröhlicher Wecker , which he moderated . There he was considered a radio tiger , because according to his own statement he once said: “Who is the winner among all women, in any case the radio tiger?” Later he switched to WDR , where he a. a. the broadcasts What can it be? (1993–2006), The Saturday Concert (until August 2004) and SchlagerPop and Co. (until August 2004) moderated.

His last broadcast, the request concert What can it be? , which he had taken over from Richard Schippers, Röpke moderated live on December 24, 2006. On December 31, 2006, WDR4 presented the most frequently requested titles again. However, Rolf Roepke had produced this program in advance. With Roepke's departure, this program was discontinued on January 1, 2007 and replaced by the telephone request concert a la carte .

Rolf Röpke has been retired since January 1st, 2007. He lives in the Eifel (Großlangenfeld) and is married.
