Rolf Theo Ocken

Rolf Theo Ocken (born November 26, 1939 in Braunschweig ) is a German major general a. D. and was responsible for the demolition of the inner-German border from 1990 to 1991 .

Live and act

From 1988 to 1991 Rolf Ocken was the commander of Panzer Grenadier Brigade 16 "Duchy of Lauenburg". As a commander, he disbanded the former GDR border troops and dismantled the border installations on the inner-German border and around West Berlin. All minefields also had to be cleared. Ocken was later a management representative at Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd & Co. KG.

Ocken has been a member of Corps Teutonia-Hercynia Braunschweig since 1968 .
